Here's a breakdown of our condition ratings from 5 to 1, where 5 is brand new and 1 is poor: 5 - Brand New Condition Description: Items rated as brand new have never been used and come with original packaging or tags. Any defects, if present, did not occur from use but may include minor imperfections from manufacturing or handling. Examples of Possible Defects: Slight damage to original packaging (e.g., chipped box) Minor stains from being tried on, like makeup marks Small factory defects often found in sample sale items 4 - Excellent Condition Description: These items show minimal to no signs of use. They might lack original packaging or tags but remain largely unused. Any defects are barely noticeable. Examples of Possible Defects: A single loose thread Small, light scratches on accessories Minor surface wear that doesn’t affect overall appearance 3 - Good Condition Description: Items in good condition have been used but are still in great shape, showing that they’ve been well cared for. Defects are minor and do not significantly detract from the item’s usability or appearance. Examples of Possible Defects: Slight pilling on fabrics Small, manageable stains Minor discolouration at the edges of sleeves or hems 2 - Fair Condition Description: Products in fair condition have been extensively used and have noticeable defects. While they still serve their original function, they clearly show signs of wear. Examples of Possible Defects: Washed-out colours Wear and tear at sleeve or leg ends Prominent stains Consistent pilling throughout the fabric 1 - Poor Condition Description: Items in poor condition have significant defects and are only listed if their original value was particularly high. These products are heavily worn and may require repair or special care.
